I am a fiscal conservative but social liberal so, in essence, I’m a man without a party.

I’ve been in Austin, TX for 30 years in the high tech industry and have seen the city go through a lot of change. I miss the old days but enjoy many of the things growth has brought (except the traffic).

Along with an interest in politics and current events, I enjoy getting away on a sailboat and shooting photographs. These are the topics I will mostly be expressing random thoughts about.
